To all YKISL/YKOSL Members,

There are 2 YKISL Executive positions needing enthusiastic individuals willing to volunteer a small amount of their time.

• The first is the ‘YKISL Secretary’: this position involves keeping records of our meetings and providing advice on the governance of the league.

• The second is the ‘YKISL Scheduler’: this position involves overseeing and inputting the indoor schedule (via the website) and providing advice on the governance of the league.

Each of these positions are critical to the health and operation of the league. There is some key organizational work that makes our league possible and YKISL members who enjoy the fruits of this preparation should certainly consider doing their part for a season/year. Being part of the Executive involves a few meetings and some minor, but well-defined, tasks. Plus, you can add it to your résumé. Interested individuals are encouraged to forward their names to christian.bertelsen@inac.gc.ca . Step forward and do your part.

To all YKISL Members,

There will be a one-hour mandatory referee training session held at the field-house on Saturday September 18th at 8:00pm. At least one representative from each team must attend and team captains MUST RESPOND via email to the Director of Referee Development, Mr. Nick Rivet to confirm who the attendant will be. Participants should be ready at 7:50pm.

Please also note that the 10-11pm Tuesday night drop-in sessions will begin on September 21st, 2010. League play will begin next week on Wednesday September 15th at 9:00pm. Please make sure players are dressed and ready to go 5 minutes prior to game time as time-slots are extremely strict in the new facility!!!

There is a MANDATORY meeting for all team captains & vice captains on Monday September 6th at 8pm in the WLWB boardroom (please call 446-2337 if you need directions).

The League will run from September 14th to April 19th on Wednesdays from 9-11pm, Thursdays from 9-11pm and Saturdays from 8-11pm. Roster sizes can range from 15-20 individuals, and keep in mind that a minimum of 2 of the 6 players on the floor at all times must be from each gender.

Team captains must come to the meeting with your first and second choice for team colour, a team name and the names of the 2 referees provided by your team.

All players must ensure they update their NWT Soccer profile to include "YELLOWKNIFE INDOOR SOCCER", pay their annual $20 membership fee, and ensure their YKOSL profile is up-to-date (or that they have one) and they have assigned themself to the correct team.

Fees are $4100 per team and fees are due September 11th at the NWT Soccer table in the lobby of the new field-house. Come on down and check out the new facility during the Grand Opening from 2-6pm. One cheque should be made out to "Yellowknife Adult Indoor Soccer".

The first drop-in session will be TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 21st!!!!

There are only 12 slots left for the Tuesday night drop-in session from 10:00-11:00pm. These drop-in sessions are operated on a first-come, first-serve basis...so REGISTER NOW!!!

The cost is $155 a person to reserve a Tuesday night time-slot for the entire season. Individuals will only be allowed to drop-in if there is space (33 max) and they must have their NWTSA Membership #. Please email sokkerguy12@hotmail.com to reserve your spot!!!

***Fees are due by September 11th, so please either come down to the Field-house during the grand-opening (Sept 11 from 1-6pm) or stop by Sport North to confirm your drop-in spot and pay your fees.
